Meet Fred! This handsome 4-5 year old boy is waiting for his forever home. Fred’s breed is a best guess. but it’s believed that he may be a Nova Scotia Duck Toller mix. This boy would love to be your hiking or jogging buddy. His family should be prepared to give him lots of opportunities for exercise….rain or shine, he loves to be out there in any kind of weather. Fred knows basic cues such as “sit”, “down”, “come” and “up”. And happily awaits his rewards. . He is kennel trained and sleeps in his crate overnight, but does think that any bedding is for chewing. He’s also house trained, though he will occasionally he mark in the house if he has not been walked or exercised enough. Fred will pull on his leash with excitement so he needs an experienced handler who is able to provide guidance. He loves to play with toys, but his favorite activities are outside and on the go. This boy is not a couch potato. Fred is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
