Meet Bugle, a four-year-old pug mix in a sturdy 23-pound package who brings a full-scale whirlwind of fun and mischief wherever he goes. Bugle doesn’t do average: he’s bursting with energy, always scheming new ways to amuse himself (and occasionally causing a little household chaos, like chewing blankets or chasing a loose cable cord). He’s a work-in-progress on potty training and takes food guarding seriously, so patience and consistency will be key in helping him polish his manners. Bugle’s personality is full throttle: hyper, dramatic, and not shy about broadcasting his opinions. Despite his mischievous streak, he’s genuinely sweet underneath—eager to snuggle after a busy day and always ready to charm with his scrappy pug face, especially once the shenanigans are over. He plays well with other dogs, gets along with cats and children, and is quick to accept corrections when they’re fair and clear. Neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, Bugle is enjoying life in Hampton, VA but can travel for the right adopter. He’s looking for someone who enjoys a challenge, craves laughter, and can show as much affection back as Bugle gives once trust is earned. Perfect? Not quite. One-of-a-kind? Definitely Bugle.
