About Phil
Start your journey together! Apply now. Phil is a charming pocket pittie (terrier mix) with a big heart packed into a medium-sized, 37-pound frame. At about three years old, he’s a black, short-haired snuggler who adores spending time on the patio and is always ready to claim his spot beside you in bed—or in his crate when it’s time for a cozy night. Phil shines in the company of kids and young children, enthusiastically sharing kisses and gentle play, and he’s well-mannered meeting other dogs. He loves to be active, especially going for walks and hikes, and he rides quietly in the car, making him a fantastic companion for both big and small adventures. A fenced yard would really let his zoomies shine! Phil is house and crate trained, consistently polite indoors, and is making steady progress on his obedience—he’ll proudly sit like a big boy all day long. While he’s not yet met cats, his affectionate and playful nature thrives in a home with canine friends and children. Please note: adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO.
