Cowboy! Multiple hotel guests in Arkansas reported seeing Cowboy hanging around looking for food and attention at the end of March. The hosts inquired about him and found out his owner had passed and his widow wasn't able to care for him. When local animal control was contacted the finders were told "to just shoot him". A family from KC was able to bath him and get these cute pictures while visiting but didn't have a place to keep him. He is not safe until we can find a foster home for him to sleep until is forever home is found. During his bath and photo session the KC family said he had the best temperament and just wanted to play! They called him Cowboy for their short time together. There were cats around and he "lunged" at them so a home with cats may not be the best fit. He was a little shy at first and warmed right up. He did great with their son too! He is about 50 lbs now but a little underweight. Age is unknown but an estimate could be made at the vet. Cowboy could use a hero!
