Introducing Mae Mae! She is so unique in so many ways. She is a one year old domestic short hair black/smoke tabby. Her rescuer also fostered her and has glowing reviews about Mae Mae and her stupendous personality: "Mae Mae is the perfect little package of fun, sweetness and charm all rolled into one compact body! From the time she could walk, she's been fearless - marching straight through baby gates without a second thought and stepping boldly into every new adventure. She came into he foster home ready to meet everyone and instantly declared herself everyone's new best friend. Mae Mae comes running when you call her name (like a dog!), and she's an expert at making the softest, sweetest muffins. This social butterfly hasn't met a stranger - every person, cat and dog is just another friend she hasn't gotten to love yet. Mae Mae is playful, affectionate and endlessly confident. She really is the whole package." Mae Mae requires a home with at least one other young and friendly cat. As well as an owner who has previous experience with a medically needy kitty. She is from a hoarding environment where many other cats have been rescued. Like most of the other cats from this situation, Mae Mae requires a GI prescription diet, regular stool monitoring and a very patient and understanding adopter. Mae Mae has been noted as having fairly frequent instances of pooping outside of the litterbox, though a foster that had her for many months noted that the behavior greatly improves over time so we suspect it could be connected to shelter stress Mae Mae has been spayed, vaccinated, viral tested, microchipped and dewormed.
