My name is Bella, 55 pounds of pure love, especially for humans. I’m a lively 2 1/2 year old black lab mix. Can we play fetch in your back yard? I'm a pro at bringing the ball back and dropping it into your hand. Not only do I love to run in the backyard, I love to go on walks. I’m told I have good recall when I'm in the yard, though you shouldn’t trust me when we are out and about. Let’s go for lots of car rides. When you open the door, I will jump right in. And treats are my favorite reward! Training with you will be lots of fun, as long as you keep the treats coming. I’m already a pro at “sit” and eager to learn more commands. I'm told I can be “jumpy”, especially when new people come over, so I may not the best fit for little kids. Honestly, I just get so excited that I can't help it. I just want to say hello with a little bounce. There are two other big dogs in my foster home and they're nice enough, but I don't really play with them. I had a small dog friend in my last home and we played well together. Squeaky toys are great fun and I don’t tear them up. Chomping on nylabones is the best way to unwind. So, that's my life right now. Playing fetch, chewing bones, car rides, and walks. I could be an only dog in my new home, or have other dog siblings.
