Louie is not leash trained and would do best in a home with a small, secure yard where he can comfortably go out to potty. Louie gets along with other dogs who respect his space—he’s not interested in playing and prefers a peaceful, drama-free environment. He feels the same about people: he’s not a cuddler, but he enjoys being nearby and part of your day. He’s polite in the car and travels quietly, though rides can make him a bit nervous. He has a good appetite, loves jerky treats, and brings a steady, easygoing presence to the home. He seems to have had a dental not too long ago, but it was discovered he has an oronasal fistula, which does not seem to be causing him any discomfort and he has no symptoms, but he will need to be fed a soft diet. Due to his age, Lil Rascals has decided not to put him through surgery for it. Louie just needs a comfortable, quiet, all-adult home to enjoy the remainder of his days.
