Nimbus is a sweet 2-year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on March 30, 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Holly Street in Marietta Ohio. Nimbus was dragging a chain behind him. and that compassionate individual may have saved Nimbus' life since he was taking a stroll very close to traffic. Nimbus was not wearing a collar (just the chain around his neck), and he was not microchipped. This handsome boy has a sleek black shorthaired coat with white markings on his chest, white toes/paws, a long tail, and the cutest face with dark brown eyes, a chubby muzzle, and semi-erect ears. Nimbus has the happiest smile and loved everyone he met as soon as he walked through the front door of the shelter. Nimbus weighs approximately 45-50 lbs and walked very well alongside HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Madison Lee who got him settled in his current housing .. which is a floor crate in our garage area. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Nimbus was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. As of April 2nd, nobody has called or come looking for this little sweetheart.
