About Pam

Pam is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Introducing Pam, a 9-month-old mixed-breed pup who traveled all the way from Kentucky and is ready to clock in at her forever home. Yes, that Pam - one half of our duo Jim and Pam! Just like her Office namesake, Pam is a little shy when you first meet her. She might not immediately prank you like Jim would, but give her a little time and she'll show off her goofy, playful side, all the while looking right at you as if you are holding a camera. Pam is still a puppy, which means she's currently majoring in Fun, minoring in Learning Manners, and specializing in Stealing Hearts. Pam would thrive with humans who understand that confidence takes time (and treats). If Pam had a resume, it would include skills such as: Young, trainable, and full of potential Dog-friendly coworker Expert listener during long days Will attend all meetings involving snacks Pam may start off as the quiet receptionist, but once she bonds with you, she becomes loyal, affectionate, and silly. She's looking for a family who will help her come out of her shell and write the next chapter of her story - preferably one with belly rubs, walks, and zero awkward office parties. Inquire about Pam today - because every great love story deserves its happy ending, and Pam is ready to make your home her branch office. Pam's adoption fee is $300.00 This animal is spayed and up to date on core vaccines. Pam is Heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment with us. Heartland will cover the cost of treatment until he is Heartworm negative. Heartworm is not contagious to other dogs or people; it is a mosquito-borne disease. It is both preventable and curable! Once cured, there are no long term health effects associated with having Heartworm. Pam is on a 28 day course of antibiotics, after which she will receive three injections to treat her Heartworm, all to take place at our shelter with our veterinarian, on the following dates: first on 5/12/26, and then on back to back dates 4 weeks later, on 6/9 and 6/10. That will complete the treatment, but she will need a quick retest at the adopter's vet 9 months post-treatment to make sure that she is Heartworm-free.
