If something startles me, I might look for reassurance or stay close to someone I trust until I settle again. But once I feel comfortable, I'm a completely different dog. I become playful, affectionate, and curious about everything around me. I enjoy spending time with people, and I tend to stick close by, especially when I'm still getting used to things. Around other dogs, I'm generally friendly but gentle. I don't always enjoy rough play right away, and I'll let others know if I need space. When I find the right match, though, I can relax and enjoy myself. I'm still building confidence, and I do best with someone who can give me a little guidance and reassurance while I figure things out.
