Pheobe is a lovely 5-year-old chocolate tortie with a soft, thoughtful nature. Like her sister Abby, she came to the rescue after their devoted owner passed away. These girls were clearly cherished in their previous home and are now looking for a new family to share that same love with. Pheobe may be a little more reserved when you first meet her, but don't let that fool you, she warms up quickly once she feels safe. With just a little patience, her affectionate side shines through, and she happily soaks up attention and gentle pets. She has a calm, sweet presence that makes her a wonderful companion. Though Pheobe and Abby are sisters, they are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately, allowing each to find the home that fits them best. Her adoption fee is $150.00 CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside pets and spend lots of time with their families.
