MEET RIVER. This handsome scruffy dude knows what it is to be loved and cared for, but lost his home through no fault of his own. He is large, seems to be a wirehair type of breed(s), and has a friendly, gentle way about him. RIVER can be sensitive and some situations can make him anxious, so he would prefer a home with patient family members who can encourage his confidence. Accustomed to other dog-friendly dogs, he doesn't have to be an only-dog, and he has been boarded in the past so is familiar with temporary lodging for the traveling family types. BCSAPS is open Mon-Fridays 10-5 and Saturdays 10-2. Over the Easter holiday weekend, we will be closed Friday and Saturday.
