Sky didn't think he would ever be in this situation. He had a family, but unfortunately his owner became ill and could no longer take care of him. He left behind a brother and wound up in a shelter in Kentucky. Luckily, he made his way to Bridge to Home Animal Rescue and is being fostered in a loving home. But he deserves so much more! He is looking for a permanent home where he will be loved and appreciated for the good boy he is! Sky is an 8-year old shepherd mix, weighing about 70 pounds. He is completely house trained and does none of the shenanigans young dogs do. He is non-reactive to cats, loves playing with toys and is just a happy boy! Sky believes age is just a number and proves it every day with his fun, exuberant energy. He has a zest for life and loves to run around the yard, play fetch and play with other dogs. He has gone on 2-3 mile walks every day, sometimes more, and even 2-mile runs. He is good on a leash, knows basic commands, is food motivated and wants nothing more than to be loved!
