Copy and Paste https://forms.gle/Qrp8LB91kAhKjawP6 Poor, sweet Prince was an owner surrender due to no-fault of his own at a high kill shelter. This sweet boy is around 2 to 2 1/2 years old and weighs between 58 and 64 pounds. Prince was going to be euthanized for space along with the fact that he was heartworm positive (NO LONGER POSTIVE) and had an eye issue that the owner did not take care of which would’ve been a simple easy fix, but the owner did not take care of the eye issue. Luckily we came along and were able to tag this dog and the shelter vet performed the dogs neuter along with heartworm treatment, and did the dogs eye surgery related to entropion so that his eye is now fixed, and he sailed through heartworm treatment no complications. This sweet guy made it out of the shelter against all odds and has turned into a real gem. He is up-to-date on all his shots, along with being crate trained and potty trained. He does well socializing with all dogs, including medium, large, and small dogs, both male and female dogs. He was noted in the sheltered to hump a lot of dogs. However, since being neutered, he is no longer humping the other dogs. He gets along and is very playful with the other dogs. He is treat and food motivated, but not food aggressive. He rides well in the car and enjoys walks along with his fence backyard. His energy level is medium. He would most likely not be a good apartment dog. His ideal home would have a fence yard and be able to either play in his backyard and or have a doggy buddy however, a doggy buddy is not a requirement. he could be with a family that has children or a couple or a single person as long as they include him in their daily adventures. He does know commands, including sit, come, heel for leash walking, and taking treats to gentle or nice. On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes.
