Blue is a 9-month-old male Blue Lacy/Lab mix with a strong, athletic build, beautiful markings, and the softest, kindest eyes you’ve ever seen. There’s something truly special about this boy. For reasons we may never fully understand, Blue hasn’t quite outgrown his puppy fearfulness. New situations and unfamiliar people can make him nervous, and he tends to approach the world with a bit of caution. The good news? With the love and support of his foster home, he’s already making great progress. He just needs a patient, understanding family willing to continue helping him feel safe and secure. And once he does? That’s when the magic happens. When Blue is comfortable, his true personality shines. He absolutely loves playtime—whether it’s wrestling, playing chase in the yard with other dogs, or enjoying his collection of toys. (Fair warning: he’s been known to sneak off with a bone or two!) He thrives with canine companions, and while it’s not required, having another dog in the home would be a huge bonus in helping him build confidence. Blue may take a little time to bond, but once he does, he’s all yours. He’s the definition of a “velcro dog”—loyal, devoted, and happiest right by your side. At night, you can count on him to be curled up next to you, soaking in all the comfort and love. He’s fully potty-trained, crate-trained, and does well with other dogs, cats, and kids.
