Meet Macho...or as we like to call him, Macho, Macho Man! 🎶 This one-year-old Rat Terrier mix is equal parts charm, energy, and snuggles, wrapped up in a sleek black-and-brown coat. Macho is the kind of dog who makes every day feel like playtime, whether he’s romping around the yard, playing fetch, chasing a ball like a tiny athlete, or shadowing his humans. He absolutely adores kids, gets along great with other dogs, and even did well with cats - though he may try to recruit them into his play squad. If laughter is the best medicine, Macho’s goofy, sweet personality is basically a full prescription. This lovable guy is as solid as they come. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained (quiet as a mouse in there!), and walks nicely on a leash, though he’s still working on not pulling when excitement kicks in. Macho is also brushing up on his “sit,” “stay,” and “drop it” skills, so he’s got that “work in progress but eager to please” energy we all love (we're waiting for him to bust out some killer disco moves). Like every Macho Man, he has a tiny “tough guy” streak when it comes to guarding his people, but with consistency and love, he’s already making great strides. After all, even the Macho Man is allowed a soft side...and his is mostly cuddles. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication.
