Chico is about six years old at this point and Chico was adopted from us originally about two years ago and he came from a home where he was raised from a very tiny puppy with his brother who was one year younger than him. LILO found his forever and Chico did too, but Chico’s forever home ended up being impacted by cancer when we learned that Chico’s parents had gotten cancer and needed support. We welcome Chico back into our sanctuary at the end of 2025. Chico is very silly very playful. He really likes to have his person near him at all times he does good with other dogs though he does like to be with his person. He is good with cats, but maybe a little playful for some cats. He absolutely loves kids and is an absolute delight, though he does make a little squeaky sound sometimes when he’s picked up or when he feels a little overwhelmed, so someone who doesn’t mind a little bit of squeak when they might sit on his tail on accident will be the right kind of person for a little Chico.
