She loves playing with her toys, cuddling with her foster siblings, sunbathing, and chicken nuggets! She also lives in a foster home with children and does wonderfully with them. Josie was rescued from the county shelter, where she was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding. She ended up at the shelter as a neglect case. She was severely emaciated and clearly had a rough start. She has come a long way since then. She is still working on putting on a few more inches, but she is ready to find her forever home. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport. *Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year. *Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption. *Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption. *All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
