Cherry is a puppy and was born in Huntington Park CA as part of an accidental litter to her her pointer/dobie dog mom and american staffy dog dad. The family that had them all relinquished most of the pups at 10 months old because they no longer had time for them and had too many dogs in the home. Cherry came in to our care and we placed her with our amazing doggy trainer as her foster. This is what Karina has to say about Cherry: She is doing amazing! Cherry has quickly become more comfortable with activities that challenge her to come out of her shell and build her confidence. Pack walks or hikes with a famliy of her own would be great so she can continue socializing with other dogs and continue structured workouts / training. A family with another dog would be great! A pup sibling that won't pick on her or influence her to be a bully but instead be more of a role model sibling to her is also a great idea. Cherry did amazing meeting my cat, Dublin. Cherry is crate trained and learning to walk very well on leash. The outside world is new to her. She spent most of her puppyhood in a backyard with her siblings and canine parents. She wants to be loved and belong. A famliy that can give her stability and go on adventures with her would be perfect for her. Her adopters will get to experience a lot of Cherry's first time experiences with her. She is not a high maintenance dog and she is ready for a forever home. Could that be you?
