Phoebe is a sweet, adorable, and affectionate girl who likes to curl up in your lap or snuggle up against you to hang out and prefers to sleep with or near you. She enjoys attention and will let you know when she wants more with a sweet meow or by brushing up against you. Phoebe will at times want to be picked up and held briefly. This loveable kitty has a ravenous appetite, but seems to burn through the calories by frequently playing with wand toys, catnip mice, and small balls, as well as darting from one end of the house to the other. She also enjoys time with a good scratching post. Although she is very active during the day, she sleeps through the night without disturbing anyone. She enjoys having a window seat from which to watch birds and people during the day. You may often catch her watching what you’re doing with a tilt of the head and a curious look on her sweet, beautiful face. Phoebe was a 1.5-year old, pregnant, outdoor stray that asked for and received help. She is currently in a loving foster home until she can be adopted. Phoebe was quick to come into the home and showed little interest in leaving. Although Phoebe likes people, she does NOT like other cats and becomes somewhat aggressive towards them. She tolerates her foster parents’ small, aging and very calm dog. Phoebe needs someone who will give her plenty of love, care, and affection. She is young and likely has many wonderful years ahead of her. Her estimated date of birth is August 1st, 2024.
