She enjoys attention and will let you know when she wants more with a sweet meow or by brushing up against you. Phoebe will at times want to be picked up and held. She has a ravenous appetite, but seems to burn through the calories by frequently playing. She enjoys having a window seat from which to watch birds and people during the day. You may often catch her watching what you’re doing with a tilt of the head and a curious look on her sweet, beautiful face. Phoebe was an outdoor stray that, at 1.5-years old, became pregnant and was unwanted by the man who was sometimes feeding her. Nearby neighbors took Phoebe in and got her the veterinary care that she needed while also providing her with a loving temporary home until she can be adopted. Phoebe was quick to come into the home and showed little interest in leaving. Although Phoebe likes people, she absolutely does NOT like other cats and becomes aggressive towards them. She learned to somewhat tolerate a small, aging and very calm dog from a distance. Phoebe needs someone who will give her plenty of love, care, and affection. She is young and likely has many wonderful years ahead of her. So long as there are no other pets in the home, Phoebe will likely settle in quickly.
