About Henry

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Henry arrived at a feeding station in Ely in rough shape, suffering from an injured tail, fleas and ticks, dehydration, and a dangerously low body temperature. After further veterinary care, it appears Henry may have also experienced a head injury, leading to some hearing and vision impairment, although he is showing signs of improvement each day. Henry continues to receive diligent care and support as he recovers, and his future is looking brighter as time goes on. This sweet boy will only be adopted to an indoor home, unless he becomes eligible for a barn cat program. Prospective adopters must be willing to host a home visit, and adoptions are limited to a 45 minute radius of Cedar Rapids, IA. Henry is available only for Iowa adopters; out-of-state adoptions are not permitted. Appointments to meet him at the Cedar Rapids adoption center are available by scheduling through the rescue's website or Facebook page. Fun fact: Henry is a Pisces, known for their gentle and empathetic personalities! Think you are the one? Submit an application!
