Hi, my name is Fate. I am a 6-month-old, male, orange tabby kitten with white. I may only have one eye, but that just makes me extra unique! After an injury and infection, I had to have one eye removed. I’ve healed up well, and it doesn’t slow me down at all — I play, explore, and zoom around just like any other kitten. While I was getting better, I needed a lot of medicine. Because of that, I can still feel a little nervous about being picked up. I’m learning that hands don’t always mean yucky medicine anymore. If you’re patient with me, I’ll show you how much I’m starting to enjoy gentle pets. When I lean in for scratches, it means I really trust you. I need to be adopted with another kitten buddy. Having a feline friend helps me feel brave and confident, and I love having someone to play and snuggle with. I haven’t met dogs or young kids yet, so I’d do best in a calm home that will give me time to adjust at my own pace.
