Handsome house panther Marcus came to us through one of our veterinary partners after he was trapped & brought in by animal control. He has a gimpy foreleg either caused by injury or since birth - but muscling indicates it has been this way quite awhile. Our vet's assessment is that he's non-painful & there is no medical intervention required at this time. Marcus has been quite reserved since his arrival at the beginning of the year, after 3 months finally taking his turn out of his cage to roam the room. He's quite interested in one of his friendly male neighbors & I believe that interest combined with the gentle patience of our staff & volunteers is what has finally pulled him out of his shell. We moved Marcus & his friend Big Daddy to an open room this first week of April to an excellent outcome - both boys are very happy together. Marcus is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered & ready for his furever home - with another friendly feline.
