Meet Mariah! Mariah is a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a sweet soul and a playful spirit. This petite, athletic girl loves to run, and watching her zoom around the yard is truly a joy. She enjoys playing fetch, has a fast recall, and is always ready for a game or a good chew toy. Mariah is incredibly smart and well-mannered. She knows commands like “sit” and “come,” is crate trained, and thrives with structure and routine. She’s also very in tune with her people, showing a gentle, affectionate side and even giving the cutest “guilty” look when she knows she’s done something wrong, just like a little kid. While she has a fun, energetic side, Mariah also loves her downtime. She enjoys relaxing on her dog bed and will happily cuddle up with her person on the couch, especially if there’s a cozy blanket involved. Mariah is dog selective and would do best as the only pet in the home. She would also do best in an adult-only home without children, where she can feel secure and receive consistent attention and structure. She was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for her forever family. Mariah is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. She is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter.
