About Vida
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Vida's name means life, and it perfectly captures her spirit. This beautiful brown boxer girl has overcome significant hardship; coming from a place of neglect, she arrived weak and uncertain but has demonstrated incredible resilience in foster care. In just weeks, she has gained 10 pounds, built strength in her hind legs, and is learning what it means to be safe and loved. Vida craves companionship—she gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs, especially her foster boxer sister, and is comfortable around cats and children. Vida does experience some bowel and incontinence challenges, likely due to past confinement and weakness, but the good news is she’s already making noticeable progress with compassionate care, patience, and support. Her age is still being determined, as worn teeth and previous neglect make it hard to pinpoint, but an age test is in progress. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. Vida is flourishing in her foster home and looking for a special family that can offer consistency, patience, and time together to keep her on her road to recovery. She will remain in her foster home until the perfect match is found—meet and greets will be arranged for anyone interested in helping Vida continue her incredible journey. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
