Meet Travis-- this handsome 1-year-old Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd 65 pound mix with the most stunning golden eyes and an even bigger heart to match. 🐾 Travis' currently lives in Louisville, OH with young children and 3 other dogs. He is a very smart, athletic boy and while his family loves him very much, his mom is pregnant with her fourth child and the family feels that Travis would do better in a home where he can get more time, attention and training. His mom and dad are willing to keep him as long as it takes to find that forever family. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies, recently neutered, and microchipped—ready for his forever home. This sweet boy is truly the total package. He gets along wonderfully with kids of all ages, cats, and other dogs, making him an easy addition to just about any family. He loves the simple joys in life—car rides, long walks, and, most of all, snuggling up with his people. He has a gentle, loving personality and thrives on companionship. Because of this, he must have a home with another dog, as he can have some anxiety when left alone. He is still working on potty training and learning basic commands, but he is very smart and eager to please—he just needs someone willing to give him a little time, patience, and guidance. Travis also would benefit from a fenced in yard where he can run with supervision as he can be a bit of an escape artist. He could live in a home without a fence, however, his owners must be willing to walk him and give them the playtime and exercise he needs. And after he's done playing, he loves to cuddle, either with a canine or human sibling.
