The only reason they was surrendered to us is because her owner died. He inquired a few months back about willing her to our rescue unfortunately, whether he knew something was up or not, his time came to an end in deli may have nowhere to go. Very fortunate for Eli Mae, he loved her very much and left her to us with a little bit to keep her going for a while and we plan on taking her to the vet and getting some blood work having your teeth checked making sure she’s in good health. She’s 13 years old and she’s absolutely gorgeous so he did take care of her very well. She lived with dogs so we’re not sure how she’ll do w/cats but if you have dogs, I’m pretty sure she’ll be fine. She’s currently in Foster? with a woman who has two dogs. She has yet to be introduced to them, but she eventually will be introduced and we’re hoping it all goes well. She loves to be Pet. She purrs endlessly to attention. Like many elderly humans, she can be a little short. But her bites don’t even go through. She does not bite to hurt you. She wants to tell you something isn’t right. Maybe you’re not petting her correctly or maybe she doesn’t want you to better her anymore but it’s all she’s got to tell you anything so she uses her teeth sparingly to inform you of her thoughts. She’s in foster with a volunteer in Havertown. So any of your local folk who would like to meet us that should not be problematic.
