Sydney was born about September 26, 2024 and at a normal weighs about 80 lbs. She came to us as a Yellow Lab/Australian Shepherd mix and ok...it seems likely. She is a very pretty girl that is a bit shy with new humans at first. She does wonderfully with other dogs and cats alike. She came to us after her human mom passed away unexpectedly and her human dad, working full time, was unable to handle the 4 large dogs especially in the city environment. It didn't take long for her to realize more grass and less concrete is a pretty good thing and has been wading in the pond and dabbling with the idea of swimming. Sydney has been around visiting children and was fine. Sydney is house trained, does pretty well on leash and does fine in the car even on her two hour journey here to Joyful Rescues. We are told if she is off leash she may wander and grew up in a fenced yard with a wading pool in the driveway during summer. Sydney has grown up with other dogs and we feel she should go to a home with at least one other dog that will be her buddy. Sydney has such a pretty face with a heart of white! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $_400.00_______. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
