After losing her first home, she's thriving in the countryside—she's a swimmer by nature, and nothing makes her happier than leaping off a dock or splashing after a tossed toy. Emma came from the city with a few extra pounds, but her love for the outdoors and regular activity is helping her steadily toward a healthy weight. She's openly friendly, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is just as easygoing with cats. Emma grew up with another big dog, and she'd love a new canine buddy, but she'd also be content as your only dog as long as she gets plenty of attention. Children don't bother her, and she's house trained. Emma does well on leash most of the time but can pull a bit when she's excited. She's a good passenger in the car, even on long rides, and she's used to fenced yards and water play. The only special consideration: Emma once suffered heat stroke, so it's important to keep her cool and avoid too much exertion in the summer.
