About Cheetah

Meet Cheetah Cheetah is a beautiful girl who is almost 7 years old and was sadly surrendered when her owner lost their job and could no longer care for her. She is now safe and in the care of Fancy Cats, but she is still adjusting to being away from the only home she knew. Because of this, Cheetah can be a bit scared and withdrawn at first and will need a calm, patient home with slow introductions so she can feel safe and secure. Cheetah needs to be an only cat, where she will have the chance to truly relax and devote herself to her person. In the right home, she will flourish and bond deeply with the one she trusts most. She loves people and will do well with older, gentle children who understand how to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable. Once Cheetah begins to feel safe, her sweet personality truly shines through. She is affectionate, gentle, and deeply loving, and she will form a special bond with the person who gives her the chance to feel secure again. All she has left from the shelter is the basket that was her sleeping spot prior to her surrender — a small reminder of the comfort she once knew and a symbol of the stability she is longing to find again. Her name “Cheetah” comes from the unique way her hair stands up slightly on her head, giving her a distinctive and striking look that matches her beautiful personality. Cheetah is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can heal, gain confidence, and form a deep bond with her special person. If you have a gentle heart and can offer her the safety and devotion she deserves, Cheetah is ready to be your one and only companion.
