About Raya

If resilience had a face, it might just look like Raya. At about 3 years old and just 10 lbs, Raya has endured more than most dogs ever will. After being struck by a car and suffering multiple fractures, she arrived underweight and frightened but kept her gentle spirit intact. FHO surgery put her on the mend, and she’s facing rehab with energy and curiosity. Raya isn't one to dwell—she's busy making the most of her second chance. She’s crate trained, leash trained, and seems to be reliably house trained. Raya gets along well with respectful children, and though she’s still working up to regular dog playdates, she’s shown no issues when meeting other dogs calmly. She’ll need a patient home keen to help her rebuild strength and confidence as she continues to heal, but you’ll get a bright, determined little companion in return. Raya's story could have ended differently, but her next chapter is just beginning. Click apply to start the adoption process.
