She is an incredibly sweet, happy girl who has been a joy to foster. From day one, she transitioned seamlessly into my routine and has been no trouble at all. She has a naturally pleasant temperament and avoids conflict, getting along wonderfully with my other dogs and even my cat. While she was a bit anxious during her first car ride, she has since adjusted well and now travels comfortably. She is fully house-trained and very well behaved indoors — I don’t even need to crate her. She sleeps through the night without disturbing me (and even lets me sleep in!). She has a moderate energy level and is equally content relaxing inside or spending time outdoors. She loves chasing squirrels and has even been known to climb a short way up a tree in pursuit! She would thrive in a home with another playful dog, as she truly enjoys having a canine companion. When my dogs aren’t interested in playing, she happily entertains herself by tossing around her favorite foam bone. She loves people and seeks out affection, happily asking for attention. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She can be frightened by storms and will climb into your lap for comfort, showing her sweet and trusting nature. She walks beautifully on a leash and will also walk calmly alongside me without one for short distances. She responds well to gentle correction and redirects easily without any challenge. While she initially tested a four-foot fence, she now stays contained and trusts that I will return. She is a loving, loyal companion who would make a wonderful addition to a home looking for a devoted and affectionate dog.
