Their owners were an elderly couple who, due to age and personal struggles, couldn’t care for them, not even for themselves. We stepped in to rescue the entire family, preventing the cycle from continuing and growing, which would have only added to the heartbreaking problem of unwanted stray dogs on the streets of Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas. Today, all of them are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and most importantly, ready to write a new story for their lives. A story their mom has never known, but one that every mother wishes for her children: the very best. And that’s exactly what we want for them too, as a rescue, the very best for each one of these nine innocent, dream-filled souls. It fills us with joy to know that they will never experience hunger, the unbearable summer heat, or the bone-chilling cold of the streets. We will do everything in our power to find them the loving forever homes they deserve, homes where they can be the happiest dogs. That is our mission. That is our promise.
