About Pluto
Notes from Pluto's Fosters He is such a love bug and is so very sweet. We have been working to crate train him, and he has been very receptive to the crate. He sleeps in his crate throughout the night, and he will not wake you up. He hardly barks at all, he will occasionally whine, but I have only heard him bark a handful of times. That being said, he is not very vocal. He is not reactive to any pets or people inside or outside of the house, excluding the food which is a new occurrence. He is learning many commands and has refined a few: Sit, wait, lay, shake, come, crate, etc. He is very, very social and plays best with other big dogs. He responds very well to treats and is very food motivated. He loves chewing on bones, and will often bring his toys to other pets in the house. He loves car rides and does very well riding. While he is still learning, he does very well out in public. He often becomes distracted but is friendly and will settle down. For those who like to take their pets to restaurants/public spaces, he's a great fit! We've made strides with walking, and he will walk in a heel position with no leash pulling. He loves the dog park and is receptive to the signals other dogs give him. Again, he's still a little rough with the smaller breeds, and he does not seem to respect their signals as much, but for small breeds with a strong and confident personality, he respects signals that are given. Overall, he is a beautiful dog with a great personality, and given the time and the correct guidance, he will be a wonderful companion. We are grateful to have the space and patience to give to him in order to ensure he is better suited to his forever home!
