Cosmo is a young male pug mix with an adorable black and white/cream short coat and a small, playful stature. He is not yet house trained and is not altered, but his vaccinations are up to date. Cosmo has special needs related to a severe collapsed trachea and is seeking a loving, calm home where he can thrive with proper care. He is currently being fostered through Texas Pit Crew.

About Cosmo

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Cosmo, the tiny adventurer with a gigantic, sassy personality! This lovable 12-week-old pug mix has endless puppy energy—always on the move, eager to chase toys, and never missing an opportunity to "borrow" your socks for his growing collection. His bold little attitude and curiosity ensure every day is filled with laughs and fun. Cosmo does have a collapsed trachea that is more severe than most cases, so he needs a dedicated forever home that truly understands and can meet his special needs. With thoughtful care, he can still enjoy a happy and comfortable life as part of your family. Cosmo's ideal home will use only a harness (never a collar), maintain a calm environment to prevent coughing, offer gentle play sessions with frequent breaks, and keep air clean and cool. He is best suited to an adult household without young children due to his need for stability and calm. Cosmo is scheduled for nose surgery and his neuter with a specialized vet soon, and your support will help him on this journey. If you have experience with special needs dogs and can provide a loving, patient home, Cosmo will shower you with snuggles, charm, and fierce loyalty. He's fostered through Texas Pit Crew, and this special sock-stealer can’t wait to find his forever family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
