About Doug
#A5755723 Meet Doug, a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with movie star good looks that literally stopped one of our volunteers in her tracks with a “wow!” His striking brown brindle coat, crisp white bib and toesies, and those perfectly floppy ears (that bounce as he walks!) make him impossible to miss. Doug isn’t just handsome - he’s a super smart cookie who proudly showed off his “sit” and “down” like a pro. He absolutely loves treats, so continued training will be a breeze with the right tasty motivation. Doug can be a bit selective with other dogs, so he’d thrive as the one and only king of your castle. If you’re looking for a loyal, brilliant, and seriously stunning best friend, Doug is your guy! -2 year old brown brindle and white Anatolian Shepherd mix -69 pound neutered male - a whole hunk of lovin’ -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/19/26 as a transfer from another shelter -super smart cookie ready to show off his sit and down, and ready to learn more with the help of plenty of treats! -would do best as a solo pup, can be a bit reactive to other dogs DOUG’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/OrOipSPir4k For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
