This gorgeous hippo is a happy-go-lucky girl that has proven to be the Queen of resilience! Not for nothing, but our sweet Queenie has had a lot of changes in the last few months. Her dedicated and loving owner passed away unexpectedly leaving her and her sister and brother looking for a place to call home. Royalty she is. You don't need other be king to welcome this queen into your life. She never holds back her affection or attention and has truly never met a stranger. She is pretty adamant about a daily belly scratch so please, applicants, add that to your daily calendar! This girl is a dream on a leash but as a senior she doesn't need super long walks...but she will do just about anything outside with you! She is so smart and loves to learn new cues and tricks. Aside from a little bit of arthritis, which she is managing well with supplements and carprofen, she is in otherwise EXCELLENT health!
