Sherwin is a young, neutered male American Shorthair with a medium build currently in Chandler, AZ. He gets along well with other cats, making him a great fit for multi-cat homes. Sherwin has moved on from his hard beginnings and would appreciate a gentle, quiet environment where he can fully relax with his favorite people and feline friends.

About Sherwin

Sherwin has put his past behind him and settled nicely into his foster home after surviving a house fire. At four years old, this black American Shorthair has a quiet way about him and prefers cozy, covered spots—whether curled up in a cat tree cubby or tucked away on a soft bed. When he’s not lounging, Sherwin comes out for attention, leaning in for head and back rubs or gently weaving between your legs. He’s social with other cats, happy to play through the door with those in a different room and relax together when they’re allowed to meet. Catnip, scratching pads, and his favorite Emerald City house are must-haves for his next chapter. Sherwin sticks to his preferred pate wet foods (topped with Churu or Temptations treats) and easily manages on Purina dry. After just a few days of gentle introduction, expect Sherwin to join you on the couch and keep you company. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
