About Sherwin

Click apply to start the adoption process. Sherwin is a striking 4-year-old black American Shorthair who has shown amazing resilience since surviving a house fire. Now enjoying the comforts of his foster home, Sherwin can usually be found curled up in a cozy cat tree cubby, nestled in a soft bed, or relaxing in other quiet, covered spots. He appreciates gentle head and back rubs, loves greeting people with a friendly rub against the leg, and is particularly fond of lounging with other cats. His playful side emerges as he spends hours interacting under doors, happily playing 'footies' with his feline friends. Sherwin comes with some favorite items: a catnip scratching pad housed in his quirky Emerald City "Wicked" house, which will accompany him to his forever home. He has a taste for pâté-style wet food topped with Churu or Temptations treats, and also munches on Purina Cat Complete dry food. Given a few days of quiet introduction, Sherwin will quickly become your favorite couch companion, always ready to share gentle companionship. He’s a lovely choice for anyone seeking a mellow, friendly cat to join their family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
