Lucky is a 1 to 1.5-year-old black Labrador mix with a playful, energetic spirit. After being picked up by a Good Samaritan while roaming, he’s now searching for a permanent home—a place where his joyful energy and loyal personality can shine. Lucky is the definition of an active companion: he relishes playtime with other dogs, chases after his favorite toys, and likes being close to his people. He does best in a home with a secure 6-foot fence, giving him the space he needs to safely burn off steam. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. Once comfortable, Lucky is affectionate and will stick by your side. He’s great with children and loves joining in on family fun. Lucky isn’t suited for a home with cats, but he does get along well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine playmate. He’s not a huge fan of heading into his crate, but once settled, he does fine.
