About Ellen
If you're looking for a cat that's equal parts princess and sweetie pie, Ellen is your girl! Ellen is a 1-year-old affectionate cat that is looking for her forever home. Ellen came from a hoarding situation and wasn't in the best shape when we got her, but now she is thriving! Ellen takes a few days to warm up, but once she does, she's eager for ALL the pets! She'll give you tons of head butts, rubs against you, loves kisses on the head, and will even flop onto her side if you find the secret spot on her back (don't worry, her foster will teach you!). Ellen is also so silly and will drool when you scratch her neck - she just loves it so much! She is so sweet, she has never bitten or scratched anyone. At the same time, Ellen is very independent and loves window watching. She loves when her person is around, but shows no separation anxiety. She prefers to play independently with anything that has a feather or her toy track filled with balls. Ellen also has great litter box habits. Ellen is a pretty low-energy cat. Not very demanding and very independent. Ellen is currently living in a home with 3 little humans and 2 adults as the only cat. Since she came from a hoarding situation, she may do well with a very slow introduction to other cats. She's not a fan of loud noises, so older/respectful children preferred. Ellen's ideal home would be quiet and calm. She would love a patient owner who gives her time to come out of her shell. She doesn't need a ton of space so an apartment would be fine. - - - - - - - - - - - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
