Cornelius is a 1-year-old brown tabby who has unfortunately been let down too many times, and now he needs someone to show him that he can find a home that will actually last forever this time. Cornelius was first transferred to NAWS from southern Illinois. He was adopted as an older kitten and returned through no fault of his own. After finding his second family, he was once again let down and returned because his fun personality just didn’t work for his family. Cornelius is a playful cat who is good with children, but he hasn’t seemed to find the people who are the right fit. Both of his previous adopters said he is a good guy who is good with children. He is playful and sweet and gets along with other cats. After everything that Cornelius has gone through, he is understandably a bit nervous being back in the rescue, but he is still his chatty, loving, and social self. Just walk past his cage, and you will see for yourself what an awesome guy he is. Please do not let his past keep you from passing him up. He has a good reputation and will do well in a home that provides him with playtime when he wants it and allows him to be a couch potato when he is ready to relax.
