Meet Bug, the tiny warrior with a heart much bigger than his 8.5 lb frame. Life hasn’t been kind to him. He’s only 6 years old and still has so much to offer. Bug was found as a stray in Long Beach and his matting was so severe that it cost him his front leg (it literally fell off at the shelter before they got him into the surgery room.) Despite the trauma of his past, Bug is showing us the true definition of resilience. He is currently learning to navigate the world on three legs with incredible bravery. While Bug is dog-friendly, he’s a bit of an introvert right now and prefers to keep to himself as he regains his confidence.
