Cookie came to Good Mews from a rural county shelter in hopes of a better chance at adoption—and she quickly stole everyone’s hearts. She wasn’t even on the original transfer list, but staff couldn’t resist her sweet little face! This senior gal may have what we lovingly call a “resting sad face,” but she is anything but sad. Cookie is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and full of love. After a recent dental procedure, she spent time in foster care where her personality truly blossomed—she immediately climbed onto her foster mom’s chest for snuggles and attention. Now, Cookie is ready to retire into a calm, loving home where she can spend her days soaking up affection and giving it right back.
