Meet blue-eyed Suki! She was surrendered to the shelter on 3/29 because her family had a baby and decided they couldn't provide Suki with the care she needed any longer. Her former family did note that Suki is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs - this is all great news! The volunteers describe Suki as such a beauty with the softest coat! She will sit nicely when asked and takes treats very gently. Huskies are a working breed and often need lots of physical and mental stimulation to be their best selves. Please do a little research on the breed before adopting to make sure Suki is a good fit for your lifestyle! Suki is approximately 3 years old, and weighs 40 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Suki is waiting patiently in kennel 852; her ID # is 17896.
