Animal Information: Trixie is a 9.5 year old sighthound/terrier mix with a gentle, sensitive nature. Her world recently changed when her owner of nearly 8 years could no longer care for her due to a medical crisis, but through it all she has remained a sweet and loving dog. She gets along well with other dogs and has lived with cats. On walks she is calm and non reactive, and she really enjoys being outside. Although she had been spending much of her time in a crate, she has done so well in her foster home and has settled right back into a normal routine. Trixie is friendly with everyone she meets. She can be a little unsure in new places at first, but she warms up quickly and will start leaning in for affection before long. She is house trained, crate trained, and rides nicely in the car. Trixie would fit into many different homes and is ready to find a place where she can feel safe and loved again. Foster Profile: Coming Soon!
