About Bunny

Bunny's story started off a hard one — she was found abandoned in an orchard, starving and severely underweight. Despite everything she's been through, Bunny has shown nothing but sweetness and a strong desire to love and be loved. She can be a little timid when meeting new people at first, but once she feels safe, her true personality shines. Bunny is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she's right by your side. She forms strong bonds and really just wants to be someone's companion. So far, Bunny has done well with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a canine friend to help keep her company and build her confidence. We haven't had the opportunity to test her with cats yet. Because she experienced long periods without food, she does show some food aggression, which is understandable given her past and will need continued structure and patience as she learns she'll never go hungry again. She's still learning about the world and can get bored easily, so she'll do best with an active home that can provide enrichment, routine, and lots of love. We are unsure how she does with small children at this time. Bunny is a gentle soul who has come a long way already — now she just needs a safe, patient home where she can finally feel secure and cherished.
