Please see post for contact information** Meet Storm, a 6-year-old spayed, microchipped girl in Columbus who is looking for the right adult home. She is a loving, cuddly companion who enjoys snuggling with her people, relaxing on the couch, burrowing into blankets, and playing with toys. Storm thrives best with experienced adults who understand and respect her boundaries. She is not a fit for homes with children, and she does best when handled gently rather than grabbed or physically managed. Like many dogs shaped by the quarantine years, she can be selective about new people, dogs, and unfamiliar environments, so she will need a patient adopter willing to let her build trust at her own pace. She is crate trained, knows obedience skills, has no food allergies, and nail trims can be managed successfully with a lick mat and peanut butter. Storm also has a strong prey drive, so she needs a home without small animals and with someone who will take that seriously. This is a very hard decision because Storm is deeply loved. She has been a loyal, affectionate buddy and a wonderful companion. In the right calm, understanding home, she has so much love to give.
