Ginger recently arrived in our yard from parts unknown. She's a sweet babe, and she loves humans. We have a 7-year-old human, a 2-year-old family dog, and a 15-year-old cat. Ginger is enamored of the human, playful with the family dog, and curious about the cat from a safe distance.Ginger's a young pup, so she's all potential. She needs exercise and attention to keep up with her appetite and social development. She's very quickly becoming crate trained, and she's excellent on a leash for her young age (no pulling and no leash aggression so far). Despite being chummy with the family dog, she's shown some food aggression and territorial behavior when family members show affection to the family dog. In our case, the family dog concedes without much of a tussle, but keep in mind that Ginger doesn't yet feel secure about having resources.
