Wicket has survived a rough start, growing up in neglectful hoarding situations and losing his caretakers twice, but his resilience shines through. After being shuffled between large packs, he didn't know much individual attention until recently. Placed with a caring foster family and two small dogs, Wicket learned the comfort of affection, steady meals, and a soft place to rest. With patience and good nutrition, his skin and coat healed, and he gained confidence; his transformation's visible in his shiny hair and brighter spirit. Wicket enjoys the company of other dogs, delights in stuffed toys, and shares beds happily with canine pals. Heās dog door savvy, house trained, and reliable when left aloneāno crate or confinement needed. Slow feeders or hand feeding help him take his time at mealtime. Heās had a dental and is now healthy, neutered, and vaccinated. Wicket prefers not to be picked up or crated, likely from his past, and instead loves sleeping in a human bed through the night. He welcomes feline friends, gets along well with other dogs, and would probably be fine with respectful older kids. Wicket is alert but quiets down when asked.
