Lyla is a 1-year-old BEAUTIFUL 55 lb. girl. She’s still just a pup really so can be expected to fill out a bit, so she’ll be a medium-large dog when full grown. She was surrendered by her owner due to no fault of her own and was terrified at the shelter with all the noise and stress. She is a sweet dog, friendly, good natured, cat-friendly, attention seeking, affectionate… and oh so pretty with her fluffy, tawny coat and exuberant smile! Being still very young, Lyla has a lot of energy and is quite active but can also settle down nicely for a nice snuggle. She easily accepts being leashed, follows her handler’s directions and will enter her kennel when directed to do so. Lyla will be making the trip north to New England towards the end of April and is looking for a forever home to welcome her. Because she is still very young and playful it would be ideal if she could join an active family or an adventurous person or couple looking for a loyal companion!
